  2. Dear Jahmal,
Loved your (6/11) interview/discussion re the B3 Jazz tradition! The only way it could have been improved would be to have a Hammond there live to demonstrate exactly the details being described (even though I know they weigh about a quarter-ton; maybe another show could review the best new, more portable electronic B3 simulators including, of course, Hammond’s.) Many Thanks! Keep Swingin’, Chris

  3. Been listening to your shows for years. Always good stuff. Finally picked up Dr. Lonny Smith ” Rise Up ” , love the Hammond organ and Donald Harrison sax work. Live in Hollister and when I go to Gilroy’s Walmart I got you tuned in. Also Johnny’s (JC) show, Johnny has been a friend of mine thru motorcycles and music. I met him years ago at JJ’S downtown at a Guitar Shorty’s show. I was outside talking to Shorty, he had nice old Cadillac. Went inside and met Johnny. He thought I was with the band but it was first time meeting him. After that followed Johnny with Back to Back blues band to his own and playing guitar. Johnny was with the Soul Brothers MC then. Keep up the good work and thanks for turning me onto Lonny.
